Gloucester Genealogical Society of Virginia Holding First In-Person Meeting Since COVID-19

When the Gloucester Genealogical Society of Virginia meets on May 24 it will be the group’s first in-person meeting since COVID-19. The Gazette-Journal reports the program will feature the showing of the 1996 documentary “‘They Live in Guinea,” a video of the Guinea fishing community in lower Gloucester. The meeting will be limited to 26 people and mask wearing along with social distancing will be in effect. The meeting is at the Community Room of the Gloucester Library, Main Street Center and starts at 10:00 a.m.
