Work is under way on Lancaster/ Northumberland Habitat for Humanity’s 21st home build. Executive director Tommy Hemans tells the Rappahannock Record the home being built on Gaskins Road in Weems will be owned by a woman with a 3-year-old and a 9-year-old child. The woman is also helping to build the home and worked with her employer to free Tuesdays and Thursdays to be on site. Many individuals and organizations made donations to construct the home.
