The cry of “play ball” will be heard starting today at Deltaville Ballpark for the kickoff of the Little League’s 2021 season. There will be 7 games of baseball and softball featuring players from 4 counties with the opening match at 7:00 p.m. featuring a Senior Baseball matchup between Middlesex and Mathews. Officials say the concession stand will be fully operational serving cheeseburgers, crab cakes, nachos, hot dogs, and more. This is the ballpark’s 74th season and the 5th annual Little League Weekend.
