The Middlesex County Department of Emergency Services received a large quantity of ready-to-eat meals donated by the Healthy Harvest Food Bank in Warsaw. Emergency Services Director David Layman tells the Southside Sentinel the meals will be used as an emergency food supply during times of disasters and will be used when the activation of an emergency shelter is required. The meals require no preparation and are individually packaged and sealed.
