Northern Neck Partners for Pets breaks ground on a privately owned no-kill animal shelter in Lancaster. The Rappahannock Record reports the first step in constructing the shelter on the organization’s Devils Bottom Road poperty include clearing eight acres of the site, construction of an access road and installation of well, septic and power systems. Once completed the shelter will also be used by the Northern Neck Kennel Club for training classes and other events.
