Richmond County’s Northern Neck Technical Center receives a $37,500 commonwealth grant for the Governor’s STEM Academy for Agriculture and Maritime Studies. According to the Rappahannock Record the grant is part of $600,000 awarded to 16 high schools and technical centers to upgrade equipment for their career and technical education programs. Northern Neck plans to use the money for purchasing computer numerical control equipment plus a plasma machine and laser cutter.
