There may soon be a new No-Wake zone on Indian Creek in Northumberland County. According to the Rappahannock Record the Board of Supervisors approved a request for a marker in the area of Henry’s Creek and Barnes Creek off of Indian Creek after hearing from the requester and an individual opposing the marker. It still needs to be approved by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources. A marker request from Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club was tabled to the next meeting.
