The clerk for Mathews and Middlesex General District Courts announces her candidacy for clerk of Gloucester Circuit Court. The Gazatte-Journal reports Amy S. Pierce will run for the Republican nomination to the November ballot. Pierce has more than 3 decades of legal experience starting at the King and Queen Commonwealth’s Attorney office and became the Mathews and Middlesex General District Court clerk last August. She is a graduate of West Point High School.
