Plan for some delays starting today in Essex County for road work projects. Drivers should expect alternating lane closures on the East Queen Street bridge over the Rappahannock River between the Richmond County line and the Essex County line between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. . Flaggers will direct traffic through the work zone. There will also be alternating lane closures on Route 684 between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for paving work.
