Route 616 in Westmoreland County also known as Tavern Run Road is back open after flooding near Tavern Run last Monday damaged several drainage pipes resulting in the road being closed. The DOT had originally announced the road was to be closed for several days and a detour route was put in place. It turns out the repairs were completed faster than anticipated so the detour was taken down.
