Governor Ralph Northam proclaims the week of May 3-7 as Teacher Appreciation Week. Northam says he’s encouraging all Virginians to participate by sending personalized thank-you notes to recognize educators for their service and dedication to students. More than 100,000 thank-you cards have been sent to Virginia teachers during the first five years of the campaign.
