Town of Urbanna officials say they are redoubling efforts to collect over $28,000 in delinquent water bills dating back to March 2020. According to the Southside Sentinel the town filed 25 liens against the delinquent property owners but it was determined that 15 of those liens weren’t filed properly and likely can’t be enforced. The largest single delinquent bill is $4,600. Gov. Ralph Northam issued an order halting water shutoffs because of COVID-19.
