Glenn Youngkin will be the Republican candidate for Virginia governor after Pete Snyder conceded Monday night. Youngkin is the former CEO of The Carlyle Group and posted on social media that “Virginians have made it clear that they are ready for a political outsider with proven business experience to bring real change in Richmond.” Snyder congratulated Youngkin on the win and said he and the ticket have 100% support.
