2021 Northumberland High School graduate Kaylie Baker receives the Northern Neck Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America’s scholarship. According to the Northumberland Echo Baker was the school’s Cadet Major, leading the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Warrior Battalion. The $1,500 scholarship will go to help paybe for Baker’s tuition at Longwood University where she plans to study Criminal Justice. Students from Lancaster and Northumberland High Schools are eligibe for the Association’s scholarship.
