The November candidate slates are set in Lancaster and Northumberland counties. According to the Rappahannock Record Craig Giese is unopposed in the Lancaster County District 1 Supervisor race and William Smith is unopposed in District 5. Carl Failmezger is challenging Faith Kemp for the District 1 school board seat, while District 5 candidate Margaret Socey is unopposed. In Northumberland County Richard F. Haynie and James M. Long are unopposed in the District 2 and 3 Supervisor Races. Carl L. Perez and Cheryl Brown Davis will vy for the District 2 school board seat and E. Denise Pope Mazyck is unopposed for District 3.
