Sentencing is delayed for a Gloucester man taking a plea deal to assaulting his wife and killed her baby. Dennis Chambers was arrested in 2020 when police did a welfare check at her home. Chambers pleaded guilty in February and was to be sentenced on Monday but a judge ordered a continuance after Chambers’ lawyers asked that he receive a n additional competency hearing. Chambers is now due back in court on Juny 27
