The Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic will conduct no-cost community health screenings in in front of Storybound Construction on Main St. in Mathews. This month’s screening is on June 19. According to the Southside Sentinel there will be screenings for body mass index, blood pressure, and HbA1c, a test used for determining diabetes. People without health insurance are encouraged to attend. The screenings are made possible by grants from the Mathews Rotary Club and Gloucester Rotary Club.
