COVID-19 SOE Ending At The End Of The Month

Virginia’s COVID-19 state of emergency is ending at the end of the month. Governor Ralph Northam says masks should still be worn if you are not yet vaccinated and businesses can still require customers to wear face coverings. The ending means Virginia’s law against mask wearing to conceal identity goes back into effect but a Northam spokesperson says the governor is confident no one will be penalized for wearing a mask for health reasons.
