Dominion Energy is holding an open house on its proposed Lancaster County solar power project. It takes place Thursday at Lancaster High School on Mary Ball Road between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The Merry Point facility that’s proposed for the area of Mary Ball and Courthouse Roads will be capable of generating enough power for 12,500 homes. The company will submit the proposal to the county this fall and if it is approved construction could start as soon as the spring of 2023.
