A Gloucester man is raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association and in the process may set a new world’s record for continuous rowing. According to the Virginian-Pilot John Musser is doing the fundraiser in honor of his wife Robin who was diagnosed with younger-onset Alzheimer’s in December 2017 at the age of 52. Musser will begin rowing at 10:00 a.m. which is the Alzheimer’s Association’s “The Longest Day” to mark the summer solstice. The challenge is being streamed live on YouTube.
