June Proclaimed ‘Immigrant Heritage Month’

Governor Ralph Northam proclaims June as Immigrant Heritage Month to celebrate the history, cultures, and contributions of Virginia’s immigrant communities. Northam says 1 in 8 Virginia residents are immigrants and his administraion is dedicated to creating a Virginia that is accepting, welcoming, and inclusive of all who chose to call the Commonwealth home. Northam encourages Virginians to explore the diversity that continues to shape the unique American story.
