The Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office reports a new scam involving their offce. A caller will identify themselves as a Sheriff’s Department employee and informs the person that they have missed jury duty and they need to come to the Sheriff’s Office and pay a fine. The department will never contact the public by phone about jury duty and if you receive a call or have any questions call (804) 693-3890 to speak with a deputy.
