Kilmarnock Towne Center Park will be buzzing with amateur radio operators participating in this weekend’s American Radio Relay League “Field Day” event. Those operators are with the Lancaster County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and will demonstrate amateur radio’s science, skill and service to the community. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and runs until 2:00 p.n. on Sunday. Best times are from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Saturday and 10:00 a.m. until noon on Sunday.
