Lancaster County BOS Adopts Budget

The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors signs off on the 2021-2022 operating budget. According to the Rappahannock Record the unamously-approved spending plan includes $33.9 million in expenditures plus nearly $1.7 million for capital improvements. By a one-vote margin the board approved a general personal property tax and personal property for motor vehicle tax rate of $2.04 per $100 of assessed value. A rate of $3.75 per $100 was originally proposed.
