Middlesex County residents can now recycle their oyster shells at the Deltaville Convenience Center. According to the Southside Sentinel the county joined the Virginia Oyster Shell Recycling Program in an effort to get as many shells as possible planted back into Chesapeake Bay. The center is on Recycling Drive in Deltaville which is off General Puller Highway. County officials will be contacting the Urbanna Oyster Festival Foundation about the recycling program.
