Rappahannock Community College’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning is offering a 3-part online lecture entitled “The Invention and Evolution of Slavery” presented by Rev. Bob Prichard, Professor Emeritus at the Virginia Theological Seminary. Rev. Prichard will trace the rise and fall of American slavery from 1619 through emancipation. The lectures are on June 9, 16, and 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Advanced registration and payment of $35 required.
