Urbanna’s Independence Day Celebration takes place this Friday. According to the Southside Sentinel activities kick off at 5:00 p.m. at the town marina with the boat parade kicking off at 7:30 p.m. from the Town Marina. Boats will head along Urbanna Creek past the judges who will award prizes for most patriotic and most creative decorations. The celebration wraps up with fireworks at dusk. The rain date is Monday, July 5.
