Virginia COVID-19 SOE Ends June 30

Virginia’s 15-month-long COVID-19 state of emergency ends June 30. Gov. Ralph Northam has already lifted nearly all COVID-19 public restrictions so this decision effects issues including mask wearing and eviction protections. Since the state of emergency was declared more than half a million Virginians have been infected with COVID-19 and over 11,000 deaths are attributed to the coronavirus. Nearly 47% of the state’s population is fully vaccinated.
