Virginia Nears 70% Vaccine Rate

The Virginia Department of Health announced that over 69% of adults have received at least one dose of a coronavirus vaccine. State Vaccine Coordinator Dr. Danny Avula says around 60,000 adults are yet to receive a dose and based on current rates they should be able to reach President Biden’s goal of 70% by July 4. Avula says they are determining if those who were first to be vaccinated will need to get a booster shot.
