The White Stone Town Council scheduled a public hearing for July 1 on a proposed noise ordinance. According to the Rappahannock Record the ordinance restricts loud music and other amplification devices between 11:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. It also limits construction and commercial vehicle noise along with lawnmower and household tool noise. The hearing will take place at the Town office on Rappahannock Drive starting at 6:00 p.m.
