Gloucester’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism department is holding a public meeting tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. to discuss an upcoming project to identify locations associated with the Battle of the Hook which took place in 1781. According to the Gazette-Journal the meeting in the Gloucester Library’s Community Room, Main Street Center will review the preservation planning proposed by South River Heritage Consulting. The project is grant-funded through the National Park Service American Battlefield Protection Program.
