A Chester woman is the grand prize winner from Kilmarnock’s ‘Salebration Days’ event that took place last month and was sponsored by the Kilmarnock Museum and Chesapeake Bank. According to the Southside Sentinel Amy Anderson entered the drawing while visiting W.F. Booth & Son Inc. Anderson says most of the $1,000 winnings will go toward a trip to Seychelles with her husband. The next “Shop Local, Shop Kilmarnock” event will be on July 9 and 10.
