The Town of Kilmarock has awarded 16 grants from its Facade Refreshment program. According to Northern Neck news the program has received applcations for $20,000 in grants with the application deadline now extended to July 31. The program reimburses 50% of allowable costs for exterior improvements and officials say the applications so far cover new awnings, window decals and signage. Applicants are advised to contact the city first before starting a project to be sure it qualifies.
