The vote to determine who will be Virginia’s next governor is months away but the battle of campaign war chests is is nearly a dead heat. According to campaign finance reports former Governor Terry McAuliffe brought in just over $7.5 million last month which is more than twice what Republican Glenn Youngkin raised. But both campaigns report a total of around $20 million each. McAuliffe’s campaign has $9 million cash on hand while Youngkin’s campaign has $2.6 million.
