A judge denies a request for an injunction on Virginia’s games of skill ban which was made by a group of business owners. The slot-machine-like devices which were in small stores and other locations were outlawed as of July 1. The plaintiffs argued banning the machines was discriminatory but the judge disagreed saying the business owners didn’t prove removing the machines left them “irreparably harmed”. and that lifting the ban is not in the public’s best interest.
