The Lancaster County Board of Supervisors approves purchasing 4 parcels of land for the school board off Irvington Road near Dream Fields. The Rappahannock Record the purchase was approved by a 3-2 margin. According to county attorney James Cornwell the school board is to transfer money back to the county for the purchase of these properties, with funds coming from the current fiscal year. School officials say they will disclose plans for the property in the near future.
