Masks Recommended, Not Mandated In Virginia

Governor Ralph Northam said on Thursday that all Virginians – whether vaccinated for COVID-19 or not – should wear masks while indoors but stopped short of mandating mask wearing. Northam’s reccomendation comes a day after the Centers for Disease Control changed its mask-wearing guidance due to rising case county from the delta variant. Virginia health officials reported over 1,000 ne COVID-19 cases for the second day in a row.
