The Mathews Maritime Foundation’s Maritime Heritage Day takes place this Saturday on Main St. from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. According to the Gazette-Journal there will be a number of activities including a raffle to win a deadrise boat model with proceeds benefiting Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester. The Foundation’s museum will be open during the event. In case of rain the event will be held on July 24.
