The Middlesex County Sheriff’s Office reports a 15-year-old girl who went missing on July 12 was found safe. Maya Hope Kelly was last seen early that morning and according to investigators she may have been in the Newport News area or possibly headed to Florida or Mississippi. The Sherifff’s office reported early Friday morning that Maya was located but it’s not known where she was found. The Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for helping with her return.
