A woman from Moon is facing multiple charges including DWI after getting into an accident on Independence Day. According to the Mathews County Sheriff’s Office the woman crashed in the 17800 block of John Clayton Memorial Highway and deputies found the woman had her 10-year-old child in the vehicle. The woman als was driving on a suspended license. She was jailed without bond and the child was turned over to a family member.
