Construction of a new bridge on Route 14 at the Gloucester County and King and Queen County line, is now complete and the road was reopened to through traffic Thursday afternoon. The new bridge provides 4-foot road shoulders, and new pavement and guardrail was added on the bridge approaches. Vehicles of all legal weights are permitted to travel over it. Through traffic on Route 14 was detoured for approximately six months during construction.
