If you use Route 17 in Tappahannock during the overnight hours prepare for delays starting next week and continuing through the month of August. Crews will be working in both directions between the Mt. Landing Creek Bridge and Hoskins Creek Bridge and the work is weather dependent. Hours are from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. The milling and paving operations will smooth the ride, improve the road condition and freshen pavement markings.
