Rappahannock General Hospital officials recognized the volunteers who staffed the hospital’s COVID-19 vaccination clinics. According to the Rappahannock Record the hospital’s request for help received an incredible response allowing the clinics to operate almost exclusively with volunteer staff. Non-clinical community volunteers cumulatively completed 1800 hours of service throughout the clinics. More than 120 clinical and non-clinical volunteers comprised the core of the workforce that sustained the clinics.
