Virginia Department of Transportation crews are doing resurfacing work on a number of Lancaster County roads this week. Those include Black Stump Road, Belmont Creek Road, Paynes Shop Road, Belmont Drive and Towles Point Road. Work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be flaggers directing traffic through the work zones so plan for extra time if you need to use those roads.
