The home on the Urbanna property being purchased by the Hampton Roads Sanitation District for a sewage pump station will meet the wrecking ball after all. According to the Southside Sentinel town officials said the house would remain in place but a district spokesperson said that is not the case. The property is adjacent to Taber Park and town officials say the district doesn’t need to get any special permits to construct the station on the home’s property.
