Virginia Could Revise Mask Guidance

Now that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is again recommending mask wearing in schools and indoors Gov. Ralph Northam says his COVID-19 team is looking into whether the commonwealth’s mask policy also needs to change. The CDC says it reinstated the mask advisory because the delta variant is causing a spike in cases especially among the unvaccinated. Last week Virginia officials said they are leaving school mask wearing regulations to the individual divisions.
