It’s been a deadly summer for motorcyclists in Virginia. According to the State Police 21 riders have died since June 1. 9 of those riders were killed without colliding with another vehicle. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration motorcyclists were nearly 30 times more likely to die in a crash than a passenger vehicle driver. Troopers urge drivers to stay alert for motorcyclists and riders are asked to do their part to share the road responsibly.
