2 people are rescued Saturday after they were stranded in their canoe in Brown’s Bay. The Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue Marine Incident Response Team was notified of the incident and quickly located the two individuals who were brought to the Brown’s Bay boat landing. It’s not clear if the 2 suffered any injuries and there’s no word on what caused the 2 to become stranded.
