3 area residents are newly minted Virginia State Troopers. Lewis C. Johnston of Gloucester is also a member of Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue. Daniel J. Wright also of Gloucester, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Psychology from Liberty University. Middlesex County resident Mikella M. Fuccella is a Virginia Army National Guard Veteran. For their final phase of training, each Trooper will spend an additional six weeks paired up with a Field Training Officer learning his or her new patrol area.
