Coastal Resilience Master Plan To Be Subject Of Public Meeting

A public hearing takes place Wednesday on the Virginia Department of Natural Resources’ Coastal Resilience Master Plan to both educate stakeholders and the public as well as obtaining feedback. The meeting takes place at the Northern Neck Planning District Commission offices on Main Street in Warsaw.beginning at 6:00 p.m. DNR regional planner John D. Bateman tells the Rappahannock Record reducing flooding and increasing the resilience of neighborhoods and infrastructure helps coastal regions and communities remain safe places to live.
